Oh boy. Here’s the new video for the song “Wu-Ooh (The New Wu)” off of Raekwon’s new and highly anticipated Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II. Wu Tang is easily one of my favorite hip-hop groups of all time. They came out right when I was in high school and I’ve loved them ever since. If this track is any indication of what the album will be like, I think we’re in for another hip-hop classic, like Raekwon’s first. Check it out.
Nore came through town with the homies from Brand Nation. Big shouts to Alex and J. Landlord. “Jose Louis Gotcha” has the illest stories… Like the one when he had to piss so he picked a building that someone he knew lived in, then with in minutes, 17 police cars and 4 dead bodies…. Ill. Ask him to tell you!

You might think my camera flash was acting up… nope, that’s smoke.
It’s official. Antonio Ansaldi’s website has been launched and is up and running. Now you can order yourself a hoodie, jeans, whatever, from this Boston based clothing designer. Once a part of the hip-hop group Made Men, Antonio has since moved into the fashion world. As I’ve said before, his hoodies are staples in Boston during the fall and winter, but this time, here’s a look at some women’s clothing offered up by the brand. For all of this and a whole lot more, go to www.antonioansaldi.com.
So if you’ve read this blog from time to time, you’ve noticed some of the videos that I’ve been posting. I’m a freelance filmmaker, so every once and a while, I’ll be posting either videos that I’ve done, projects that I’m involved with, or that involve some of the people that I work with and that inspire me. Here’s a video that I did for Big Shug off of his album, Other Side of the Game. It features Singapore Kane and Termanology, two other Boston area m.c.’s, and is produced by DJ Premier. Keep your eyes peeled for Big Shug’s new album due out this year, pick up Termanology’s recent album Politics As Usual, in stores now, and be on the look out for Singapore Kane’s solo album, being recorded now.
Before you pass the word that the homies at Frank 151 cheffed me up a fitted, I’m just trying to be clever. Beyond my interests in music, cloths, sneakers and my work with Concepts and various blogs and magazines… there’s what’s really important, my kids.
Here is one of two, Juni (Frankie Jr.), being like his pops.
“Dad, is the “F” on my hat for Frankie my name?”. Yes it is.
So I’ve never been a big easter themed sneaker fan. The all over prints, over the top pastel colorways, etc. They never really appealed to me. However this year, Jordan Brand put out an easter themed sneaker that I don’t feel stupid wearing. Simple but clean colorway, decent quality materials, and the Jordan 7 tongue, make these an easy pick up. Although the Jordan 1 releases recently have been plentiful & largely crappy, I think Jordan got it right with this one. Go snag yourself a pair at Concepts, or anywhere else you can find them.
My man Term just got home from a 46 city tour with Redman & Method Man. Most rappers would take a break and enjoy being home before getting back at it. Not Term. He put on a show at the Middle East in Cambridge for the release of his new mixtape with the late J.Dilla. Here are some flicks from the night. Big up to Term, Statik, and the whole St. Da Squad!!!!! Its nice to see one of the hardest working emcees in the game get his shine.
Check of Skitzofreniks introducing Term.
Term rocking the CC fitted.
Bar Certified Jordan 2009. Fresh off the shelf at Concepts to the floor of the Middle East. Bold move by Frank The Butcher.
Deon Point cares zero…. Bar Certified TZ AF1.
I said fuck it, and ran the AM95 AF1. Bar Certified.

“Pull strings and have the whole hood up in ya face”
I heard those words once…. Just hearing them you cant help but get a tiny bit excited. Unfortunately my “hooked up” never came through. Fortunately for Deon Point his did, and I am happy for him. Peep a few of the Nike samples he recently received.
