Michael Jordan – THE EULOGY

I’ve been in a “sports mood” all day today due mostly to the fact that I was watching Tiger in the Masters at Augusta, and Lebron playing the Celtic’s in Cleveland. I started watching classic sports footage on various video websites and came across this video titled “Michael Jordan – THE EULOGY.” If you we’re glued to the television to watch Michael play during his incredible career, you’ll appreciate this. Enjoy.

Bar Etiquette…

Lets talk about it for a second. I know it needs to be discussed, and many of us avoid it for the simple fact that we all have someone in our very crew that does not follow proper bar etiquette. Here are a few examples that will land you on that list…

1. Allowing your homey to serve aces all night (little tennis reference for ya). If you are out and ya man is buying every round, and you are not attempting to at least return the offer, you’re a bum. Plain an simple. Unless ya man hits on an office pool, lottery ticket, or wins big at the casino and tells you “drinks are on me tonight” then it is assumed that a drink served will be a drink returned. Not only is it the right thing to do, its good drink karma.

2. Climbing the ladder. This is a huge no no. If you are balling on a budget there is nothing wrong with that. Do you! If you are drinking dollar drafts, and someone asks “what are you having” dont switch it up and shoot for the 12.00 Red Bull and Grey Goose…. Dont get caught out there looking like Super Mario jumping over kegs of draft beer to climb the ladder like its a game of Donkey Kong. The only time this is acceptable is if someone offers a shot and they make the choice.

3. Fish with your own bait. Dont attempt to pick up a female by buying her drinks on someone elses tab, or inviting her into someone elses VIP area. Bottom line is that she will eventually figure it out and find her way to the money if thats what she wants. While you are playing Duck Hunt with drinks someone else paid for there are dogs watching and laughing waiting to fetch the bird and feast off your bad aim.

4. Tip accordingly. Bartenders and waitresses might not remeber your name, your face, or what type of cologne you wear but they damn sure remember where the money comes from, and will find their way back to it. So if you are not taking care of them, dont expect the same in return. You will be one of the suckers hangong waiving your five dollars for the 5 dollar drink you want. I am not saying you have to go overboard. Just be fair. Thats all.
