Ladies and Gents…meet M.D.

I first heard M.D. during a routine trip to the barbershop on a Friday afternoon. My barber Ryan wanted to show me some tracks from a friend of his, so I jumped in his SUV and the rest is history. Once I heard this young MC rhyming over some early 90′s beats and some tracks he’d done with his camp (YoungStar), I knew he’d be a perfect fit for my style of production. Ironically, we had a show that night opening for “RADIx,” and M.D. just happened to be opening as well. I met him and his team and we talked a bit and exchanged contacts before our performances. Days later, I invited M.D. over to the studio. In about two hours of putting in work, he had laid down seven verses to a few different beats I had laying around. “Bein’ High” is a result of that studio session. M.D. and I will be putting in some serious work this coming summer, so be on the lookout for more music. Enjoy.
