Nike Air Max 1 iD 2010

I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with Nike iD. Sometimes the shoes I make come out great, sometimes they don’t end up as I intended. It tends to be hard to judge how the colors will look when all you’ve got is a computer screen. This year, Nike iD decided to give us some really good options for the Air Max 1, as far as materials go. Mesh as the base, soft suede, reflective 3M material, good color way options, even speckled midsoles. I’ve always loved the Air Max 1, so the options on iD now are right up my alley. I’ve gotten four pairs of them already and fighting off the urge to get a fifth. Safe to say, I’m obsessed. Check out the pictures below and grab a pair if you can, before they change the options.

The Town Trailer

The trailer for Ben Affleck’s second film as a director, The Town, just hit the web. I had the privilege of working on, and helping to cast this film. Based on the novel Prince of Thieves by Chuck Hogan, the film stars stars Affleck, Jeremy Renner, Jon Hamm, Rebecca Hall, Blake Lively, Pete Postlethwaite, Chris Cooper, Boston’s own Slaine and many, many other amazing local people. Check out the trailer and make sure to go see The Town in theatres, September 17th.

I’ve been lucky enough over the last several years, to work in the film industry here in Boston. More specifically, I do the casting for many of the films that come to shoot here in the New England area. Rarely am I able to talk about the films that I work on until they are set to come out. But when they do, I like to post things about them. Grown Ups is a movie that I worked on this past summer. Starring Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and a slew of others, the comedy centers around a group of childhood friends brought back together when their high school basketball coach passes away. Check out the trailer above and catch the movie in theaters on June 25th.

Game of Breath – CD Release Party

This Tuesday night, March 9th, upstairs at The Middle East in Cambridge, local rapper Jaysaun and Leedz Edutainment are throwing a release party for the album Game of Breath. Jaysaun and DJ Revolution teamed up on this album and if you haven’t heard any of it, then you’re missing out. Jaysaun is Butcher’s Block family and one of the better MCs around, so look for the album on-line and come out on Tuesday to support local hip hop.
