Thank you Onyx—-
The first minute and a half of this video is crazy!!! Sticky goes in with a Jay Z impersonator!
Ro is family, straight up & down. Burn Rubber is family 1000%. What up Rick!!! SLAP!
Peep Ro’s remake of Hov’s “Empire State of Mind”— and he gave him a run for his money!!!
and if you missed it, here is a joint I produced off of Ro’s “Oh Shit” project featuring Ro, Bun B, Curtains and Big Sean.
You might have seen the Rocafella Films movie “Paid in Full” that was loosely based on the infamous Harlem drug dealers Azie, Rich Porter & Alpo. This is the real Azie (Ace in the movie) and he doesn’t quite agree with how the movie went down.
Fun Fact: AZ the rapper lifted his name from Azie the drug dealer who also formed a rap group in 1989 with some real street goons named “Mob Style”. Mob Style had a real dislike for N.W.A. because of their unproven street tales and even set it on them at the Apollo. If my memory serves me right, I think there were some words for AZ from Azie back in the day too. Do The Knowledge here.
Big shouts to my man Fat Jon from the Bronx for putting me onto to Mob Style in 1995— I remember us skipping class, catching tags– him blowing the El swearing up and down that Nas’ man AZ wasn’t the original “AZ”.
Fresh from the cutting room— The Kid Daytona’s “Contact” video featuring Kardinal Offishall!
“Contact” is the second single off Daytona’s “Come Fly with Me” album which you can download here.
The video was filmed in Boston at one of the nightclubs and also at Laced Boston.
If you look closely— you might catch a glimpse of the Butcher in the video.
This joint is crack!
Big shouts to Daytona and Brand Nation
The Kid Daytona – “Contact!” feat. Kardinal Offishall (Video) from The Kid Daytona on Vimeo.
“Contact!” is the second video shot off of The Kid Daytona’s “Come Fly With Me” free album download… It features Konvict Music/Interscope artist Kardinal Offishall and is produced by 6th Sense. Video directed by Noah Christofer (Beyond Measure Films)

This is my shit and might be my new favorite band.
The Wellington Papers straight out of New York City.
The song is a true story….
Peep blog here.
Now this is more like it!!! Buckwild from the almighty D.I.T.C. on the beat.
Buckwild has been the only member of D.I.T.C. that has been able to balance the “crate diggin” style and culture of his crew and keep a street presence without a compromise. While Diamond D, Lord Finesse and others have had trouble finding a position in current Hip-Hop (no matter how dope they are), Buckwild bangs at street level.
Is it that “Golden Era” producers are too stubborn to evolve? Is it that current artists don’t give them a chance?
I’m not sure but I will punch you in the face if you beleive in your heart of hearts that The Beatnuts couldn’t chef something crazy for someone new or that Pete Rock wouldn’t made a stand out track on the last Nas album.
Age dont mean shit— Marley Marl is on Cuban Linx 2!!!!
Quincy Jones was 51 years old when he produced Thriller.
