Paul Mighty is a music producer, audio engineer, and co-host of The
Butcher's Block podcast. Born and raised in Worcester, MA,
Paul is the product of many unique environments. “My grandfather owned one of
the oldest bars in the city. My father ran the show as
bartender and manager so my brother and I spent a lot of time there as
kids, running around while my father handled business. I learned a lot
about life there.” Paul currently operates "The Mighty Jungle," a music studio based
out of his home in Worcester. "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Butcher's Block.
We are now broadcasting live at Mighty's."
My brother Skivi B has dropped a new single over at kindadusty.com titled “Get Down,” produced by DJ Manipulator. Great to see my brother getting involved and putting his all into his music the way he has been. I’m proud of him! Listen and download below…
Fresh off of the success of his Pete Rock “Tru Master” remix and in between numerous projects, DJ Manipulator hits the crates to create this remix of Nas’ 1994 classic “One Love.” Smooth sample, heavy drums, and a whole lot of soul.
It seems like forever ago when Louie Gonz (formerly Spit Supreme) first met DJ Manipulator. Fact is, it was less than a year ago and already they have built a chemistry that will surely bring forth the kind of unique music that only a well blended MC/Producer duo can create. To give you a taste of what’s to come from the two, Kinda Dusty presents the digital 12-inch release for “Blow the Horns” b/w “Watch Your Back.” The release is a brief glimpse into what is currently in the works for the near future. We told you we we’re going to bring it in 2010, so stay tuned in. There’s much more to follow.

side note: Mixed and mastered by Paul Mighty and DJ Manipulator. For best results, listen to this music release very loud, while sipping on your favorite 40 oz brew. Enjoy.

Check out the new trailer for E The Real’s new song “The Network Game” featuring Louie Gonz. This song will appear on E’s new album “The Wall Street Project” dropping June 1st. The video is directed and edited by Nick Cangello. Full length video will be released very soon.
Kinda Dusty is proud to present the first single off of E The Real’s new solo album “The Wall Street Project” dropping June 1st. The album is inspired by the classic 1987 film “Wall Street” directed by Oliver Stone. With this project, E takes the idea of a “concept album” to a new level, breaking down the American business world and it’s influence on our culture. Greed, competition, and loyalty are just a few of the themes that E touches on. In the Hip Hop world, artists are now business men and take on many responsibilities in order to succeed. E draws the connections between Hip-Hop and Wall Street through his new album.
The first single off of The Wall Street Project is “Broke” b/w “G.R.E.E.D.Y”
“Broke” is produced by Paul Mighty, which features a feel good, catchy, up tempo beat. E takes on the perspective of the everyday broke individual who is struggling to survive in todays economy. It never felt so good to be broke until now.
“G.R.E.E.D.Y” is also produced by Paul Mighty and features Timmy Wiggins of Cardboard City (Cage, El-P, Aesop Rock, etc.). Greed is one of the most important themes in the Wall Street movie, made famous by the Gordon Gekko character played by Michael Douglas. E and Timmy reveal the nature behind the greed driven mind state with each line over a hard hitting Paul Mighty beat.
The songs are available for FREE DOWNLOAD along with the instrumentals. Stay tuned for more details on the album release of “The Wall Street Project”.

I first heard M.D. during a routine trip to the barbershop on a Friday afternoon. My barber Ryan wanted to show me some tracks from a friend of his, so I jumped in his SUV and the rest is history. Once I heard this young MC rhyming over some early 90′s beats and some tracks he’d done with his camp (YoungStar), I knew he’d be a perfect fit for my style of production. Ironically, we had a show that night opening for “RADIx,” and M.D. just happened to be opening as well. I met him and his team and we talked a bit and exchanged contacts before our performances. Days later, I invited M.D. over to the studio. In about two hours of putting in work, he had laid down seven verses to a few different beats I had laying around. “Bein’ High” is a result of that studio session. M.D. and I will be putting in some serious work this coming summer, so be on the lookout for more music. Enjoy.
